A person from Dublin has pleaded responsible to abusive habits towards a police officer and threatening to smash up a bookmaker’s.

On November 21, 2022, Stephen Conroy, who was drunk, is alleged to have stated to the officer that he was a skilled boxer and that he would “knock him out” after threatening to interrupt a grocery store worker’s legs. In response to his protection crew, Conroy suffered from alcohol dependancy and was “very deep” into it.
Showing in Dublin District Courtroom, Conroy was fined €400 ($420).

Conroy has since cleaned himself up and detoxed and apologized for his habits.
